Prognoses of corn yield has started at IntelCrop

05/29/2007: This week (cw 22 2007) the new IntelCrop prognosis model for the forecasting of corn crops’ yield starts its first estimations.

For the current campaign the model will work as a prototype and run weekly estimations for yield in France, Germany, Hungary and the USA.

With the start of the 2008 campaign however, corn prognoses will be also available for our customers. As already for wheat and barley, highly accurate yield prognoses for corn crops will be guaranteed by the use of satellite information.
