06/23/2006: Successful wheat harvest in Spain expected

For the campaign 2005/06 IntelCrop forecasts a much higher crop yield compared to previous years and good grain qualities for winter soft wheat in Spain. Due to the wet weather conditions until beginning of May winter crops developed well this year.

If no extraordinary occurrences will happen during ripening, last weeks’ dryness and mild temperatures will lead to good grain qualities.
